The menu includes a burger called The Houck Stack, a platter with a side of mood gravy, chicken tenders labeled Beige Strips (served with a dipping sauce called simply "The Orange One"), a 12-inch sub called The Long Tuesday, and a milkshake that comes in vanilla, chocolate, or discontinued flavor — never announced in advance.
The founder, Gerald "Grumble Daddy" Houck, was a retired HVAC technician who bet his entire severance on one theory: Americans wanted a fast food chain designed around eating alone in a parking lot at night.
He was right.
